Mindful coping with an initial cancer diagnosis – Online
Designed for people newly diagnosed with cancer. It provides information and skills-based training to assist with coping with the initial diagnosis and developing strategies to cope with treatment. A 5 session online program, drawing on mindfulness and guided visualisation practice combined with positive psychology, CBT and emotional regulation skills.
Mindful coping with treatment – Online
Designed for people going through the intensive phase of their cancer treatment. A 10 session program consisting of mindfulness and guided meditation practice, combined with online education and support.
Relaunching after cancer – Online
Designed for people at the end of their intensive treatment of surgery/chemotherapy/radiotherapy who are wanting to get back into life. Appreciating that their experience of their health issues might have given them a different perspective on life, and a desire to make changes and relaunch back in to life with a focus on self-compassion and purposeful action, to achieve their life dreams and experience greater richness in their life.
If you participate in the program, it will comprise of a review of your
strengths and values at the start of the program, combined with conducting a life audit to see if you are living your life the way you want to be and prioritising what matters to you. This, combined with regular mindfulness practice and guided visualisation with other psychologically based strategies to encourage you to create a rich, full life with meaning.
This 10-session program draws on wellness principles, combined with mindfulness practice, guided visualisation, positive psychology, CBT, behaviour change principles, relationship skills and emotional regulation skills to help you make steps towards creating the life you want to achieve and cope with any residual worries from your cancer experience.
